Coastal Sussex : Deer Season

Tomorrow is opening day of the 2008 Muzzleloading whitetail deer season in Delaware. 

The season runs from Friday, October 10 to Saturday, October 18.  Hunting is not allowed on Sundays, so rest assured that your family walk with the dog will not be interupted. Typically, there are only a handful of hunters in the woods; however it is always wise to wear bright colors and make loud noises if you feel concerned. 

If you are a hunter, good luck, wear your blaze orange and hunt safe.
