Lewes: $5 Sandwich Night at Java Beach
July 23, 2008
Don’t forget to visit Java Beach in the Villages of Five Points Town Center tonight for their $5 sandwich night. Trust me, these are no ordinary sandwiches, and they go great with a Dogfish Head beer.
$5 Sandwiches Tonight at Java Beach!
July 16, 2008
Come in to Java Beach in the Villages of Five Points in Lewes tonight from 5pm to close. Java Beach is a member of the Arena’s family of restaurants, probably the #1 name in sandwiches in Lewes & Rehoboth Beach.
Choose from the Honey Tarragon Chicken Salad Club, the White Russian Panini, the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap and many more, or build your own sandwich from 48 ingredients. Once you’ve selected a sandwich, settle in with a Dogfish Head Pale Ale or a glass of Edna Valley Chardonnay and enjoy the view, inside or out!
$5 Sandwich Night at Java Beach is an absolute must. They even have wi-fi. In fact, Java Beach is great any time of day. I’m sitting in Java Beach right now, typing this post!

Java Beach Open Late!
June 18, 2008
If you are searching for a cozy, quiet and comfortable cafe in Lewes and do not want to drive down town or pay for parking check out Java Beach in the Village of Five Points.
Java Beach is a hip restaurant that NOW serves all their gourmet sandwiches for the late night crowd. Their new hours are 6:30 am to 10:30 pm. They serve not on all your domestics, but also serve Dogfish Pale Ale, Sam Adams Seasonal, and Blue Moon. Dave and I spend most of our time here just cause we like Ramsey, and because the TV’s are plasma, sandwich board includes scrapple, and the staff very friendly.
Give em’ a call for more information at 302-644-0370.
A Great Day For You, A Gift For Another
June 9, 2008
Spend the day at the Villages of Five Points Town Center, where you can pamper yourself and still get a great gift for someone else.
For some it’s all about getting pampered, and that’s what the Med Spa at Bad Hair Day is all about. They even have a pampered package called “Queen for a Day,” which is a great gift for someone special in your life. Queen for a Day includes pedicure, manicure, hair cut, makeup, and body massage. After getting the royal treatment like that, you’re going to want to ease your way back into reality slowly.
How better to do that than getting an ice cold and refreshing smoothie from Java Beach, which is conveniently located next door? My favorite is the banana flavored smoothies. They’re not too sweet, they’re just perfect. Read more
Cup of Joe in the AM
June 7, 2008
For a quick cup of Joe head to Java Beach, located in the Village of Five Points Shopping Center. Ramsey and his staff provide excellent service, a wide variety of morning sandwiches, including my personal favorite, scrapple, egg and cheese on a croissant, and some of the best coffee in town.
Speaking of coffee, does anyone know why it is called a “Cup of Joe”? Read more
