Beaches

The Delaware Beaches run for miles from Slaughter Beach east of Milford all the way to the state line at the Fenwick Island-Ocean City border. Many of our beaches have received certification from the Clean Beaches Council, and most of our coastline is open to the public. In fact, there are many beaches that seem private which are not.
Parking access, however, is a deterrent at points such as North Bethany Beach. Paid parking (meters and/or passes) is the norm, including the towns of Lewes, Rehoboth, Dewey, Bethany, Fenwick and the State Parks.
